A master bathroom is one of the most personal — and most valuable — spaces in any home. For Roswell II, we transformed a dated, closed-off bathroom into a light-filled, spa-inspired master retreat, designed around warmth, timeless materials, and quiet luxury.
Great design happens long before construction begins. We started with a careful material selection process — sourcing herringbone marble flooring, soft cream millwork, handcrafted shower tile, and unlacquered brass fixtures — laying every finish out together to make sure the room would feel effortless and cohesive.
From there, the space was taken down to the studs. A full demolition cleared the original layout, followed by a complete reconstruction — rebuilt walls and custom cabinetry, a reconfigured shower and freestanding tub, new plumbing, electrical, and lighting, and refined trim throughout. The result is a master bath that feels brand new while honoring the home's classic character.

& Design
Every renovation begins with intention. Before a single wall came down, we curated the full material palette and resolved the design down to the last dimension — from the herringbone marble and shower tile to the vanity layout, lighting, and brass detailing. Planning this carefully is what lets a renovation feel effortless once it's built.
Where we started
Before:
The Original Space
The Challenge
The original master bath was dated and dim — a cramped layout, builder-grade finishes, and heavy fixtures that no longer reflected the home. Realizing the new vision meant a full demolition down to the studs, then rebuilding the space entirely: new flooring, custom millwork, a reconfigured shower and freestanding tub, and all-new plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
